Military Vehicle Trainers — IFV / Infantry Fighting Vehicle (BMP)

System Purpose
The SKIFTECH IFV (BMP) system is designed for realistic field training of vehicle crews without the use of live ammunition.
It enables crews to practice firing, maneuvering, crew coordination, and interaction with other units in conditions that are as close to combat as possible.

Kit Composition
The basic kit includes all essential modules and can be quickly installed on any IFV/BMP variant:

01
External shot simulation unit
02
Main control unit (Master)
03
Fire control module
04
Hit sensors
05
Military Statistics software

External shot simulation unit
for simulating cannon and machine-gun fire.
System Functionality
The SKIFTECH IFV system reproduces the full crew workflow—from aiming to hit indication:
Full simulation of firing from a 73 mm cannon (BMP-1) or 30 mm cannon (BMP-2), as well as the PKT machine gun.
IR-based shot simulation at ranges up to 1,500 m (or up to 2,000 m depending on the mode).
Automatic real-time detection of hits and damage.
GPS-based transmission of vehicle coordinates.
Visual and audio indication of all events for the crew.
Storage of all data in Military Statistics.
Ability to “restore” the vehicle to continue training.
Wireless communication: 868 MHz radio channel + encrypted Wi-Fi for server data transfer.

Technical Module: External Unit
The external unit for IFVs is responsible for accurate shot simulation:
Laser emitter provides high-precision shot direction.
Simulation range: up to 2,000 m.
Mounting: strap with ratchet mechanism for fast installation.
Built-in bubble level ensures correct alignment.
Cannon and machine-gun fire simulation via infrared signals.

System Operating Principle — 5 Steps:
01
Installation of hit sensors, the external unit, and the main control unit on the IFV.
02
Connection of the fire control module and synchronization with the server.
03
The instructor starts the training session via Military Statistics.
04
The crew conducts a training engagement with firing, maneuvers, and registration of every event.
05
Upon completion, the system automatically generates reports and statistics.

Military Statistics — The Digital Core of Training
Military Statistics provides full control over the training process:
Displays all vehicles on the training range map in real time.
Records shots, hits, maneuvers, and crew actions.
Allows scenarios to be started, stopped, and restarted.
Maintains an event log and generates summary statistics.
Enables rapid “recovery” of hit vehicles.
This module makes training structured, controllable, and fully data-driven.

Training Scenarios
The SKIFTECH IFV system supports a wide range of tactical scenarios:
🗸
Simulation of combat in urban environments.
🗸
Coordination of multiple platoons.
🗸
Close combat with infantry or armored vehicles.
🗸
Seizure and defense of positions.
🗸
Rehearsal of complex maneuvers and crew coordination.
Practical Value and Advantages
SKIFTECH trainers enable intensive and realistic training without risk or unnecessary costs.
Practical value:
Crews develop combat coordination in realistic conditions.
Every shot and maneuver is recorded and available for analysis.
Commanders gain an objective tool to assess training readiness.
Advantages:
Complete control and analytics via Military Statistics.
Simulation of real combat scenarios.
Savings on ammunition and vehicle resources.
System autonomy of up to 23 hours.
Easy installation on any IFV/BMP modification.
Reliable wireless communication between all system components.
